    Can u please make a tutorial video about adding cheat codes to your game (for example if u type "weapon" in the main menu you'll get a special weapon)

      That's actually rather simple once you have a place to start. Even independent from the engine. Have a string to buffer your input. Whenever a keyboard key is hit, you add that character to the string. if the string is longer than let's say 10 characters, you remove the first character in it. This way you'll end up with a string having the last 10 inputted keys in it. Now after adding a character, just check if this temporary string ends in "weapon". If it does, trigger the cheat.

    Easy little trick I used to add piercing for my projectiles was to simply add the health behavior to my projectile template late. From there the only difference you would have is instead of projectile collision with enemy and deleting the object, you then subtract the health. Then check if the projectile is dead and delete it

    You should make it so you can smack the projectiles back at enemies. But, give it a chance to miss, because no one has enough accuracy to deflect a bullet 100% of the time.

    Congratulations on your creation! I believe your game can be part of a huge wave bringing GDevelop to a wider audience. As for my opinion on Early Access games, I believe these games should be in a very playable and 'finishable' state. I really don't like when game are released in EA while missing a lot of pieces. If it has a story, release it when the story can be enjoyed in its totallity, not just part of it.

      Nothing really sensitive about it, it was a thing I made because I didn't have anything planned for a video that week. And after all of this time, it's still my most popular video and game. Even though I put way less effort in to it than a lot of other things I've worked on. 😅

    Can I ask you why you released you your game on Newgrounds and not on itch? Just curious because I thought the community on itch is bigger than newgrounds. :o

      Itch is terrible for discoverability, your game quickly gets drowned by all of the jam games being released. I did release on itch later though.

    A year ago I used Construct 3 and I was really happy with the Engine. Then I paused the subscribtion a few month and when I came back the price was raised so I decided to switch zu GDevelop. The big PLUS is its free but I have to say the Construct Pixel/painting Tool is better than the one from GDevelop. Not a huge letdown since I use Aseprite for my Sprites and import them to GDevelop. But besides this till now I think GDevelop is better over all because its free, you have tutorials IN the engine and you have many assets etc. to choose from when you dont want to make them by yourself.
